مجهولون يهاجمون مقر أخوية مار يعقوب النصيبيني في القامشلي
An unknown group attacked the headquarters of the Mar Yaqoub Al-Nasibini Brotherhood of the Syriac Orthodox Church in the city of Qamishli, Al-Jazeera Province, in the north and east of Syria region.
The group messed with the contents of the headquarters, destroyed Christian religious symbols and headquarters furniture, and stole some of the brotherhood’s holdings.
The Sutoro Internal Security Forces have begun their investigations into the attack, confirming that they will issue a statement in this regard as soon as possible, and are committed to arresting the perpetrators of the attack and bringing them to justice as soon as possible.
The Sutoro security forces confirmed that they would stand up to those trying to ignite strife among the components of the region, especially in light of the current reality that Syria is experiencing after the fall of the former authoritarian regime.
The brother of Mar Yaqoub Al-Nusaybini, affiliated with the Syriac Orthodox Church in Qamishli, is concerned with the youth and the Syriac teams.
The city of Qamishli had witnessed an attack by unknown persons on the monument of the martyrs of the Seifu massacre in the summer of 2023, before the democratic self-administration of the North and East Syria region renewed the rebuilding of the monument in Al-Dawar shortly after.
