Turkey steals 20,000 tons of grain from Tel Abyad

TEL ABYAD – Looting in the areas of “Operation Peace Spring” continue. According to posts on social media and confirmed by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Turkey has taken 20,000 tons of wheat from Tel Abyad and the surrounding region.

The theft of the grain came to light following the circulation of a request for tenders for the transportation of 20,000 tons of grain from Tel Abyad to Urfa, Turkey.

Villages through the Tel Abyad and Rish Ayno countrysides have been looted by Turkish backed forces.
