Syriac Catholic Actress Nadia Rafiq dies at Age 85
The famous Syriac Catholic actress Nadia Rafiq Habib passed away last Friday in her home city of Cairo after a long sickbed.
She recorded her first movie in 1981.
Nadia Rafiq featured in many Arabic series and movies and was famous in the Arabic world for her role of mother. She represented the mother figure for lots of stars. She described herself as “a mother to all the actors in Egypt”.
Her funeral ceremony was at the Syriac Catholic cathedral in Cairo.
