“Promoting the Media Reality in North and East Syria” workshop held in Raqqa

RAQQA – Under the slogan “Promoting the Media Reality in North and East Syria” and with the aim of developing media, the Public Media Office of the Future Syria Party, the party of slain politician Hevrin Khalaf, held a media workshop in the Shate wa Nahr restaurant in Raqqa. The workshop is the first of its kind in the region.

The workshop was attended by a number of media professionals working in new agencies, institutions, and broadcasting, in addition to independent media personalities.

The workshop program included two parts.

The first part, entitled “Media Reality in North and East Syria”, was headed by Ibrahim al-Kaftan, head of the Future Syria Party, Mustafa Bali, Director of the SDF Media Center, and Mustafa al-Khalil, an independent media personality.

The second part, entitled “The Mechanism for Promoting Media Work”, was headed by Iyad Khatib and Ibrahim Medawar, members of the Media Office of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

During the media workshop, recommendations were developed by the participants as outputs of the promotion of the media reality in North and East Syria.

The workshop included various interventions and discussions in all aspects related to the media. In addition, the attendees’ questions and inquiries were answered by the participants.

The workshop was concluded by thanking all the attendees and emphasizing on holding more than one activity in the coming days to promote the media reality.
