Syriac Military Council repulses attack by Turkish-backed Mercinaries

Yesterday evening, Syriac Military Council fighters repulsed attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries from the villages of al-Arisha, Qasimiya, Rehaniyyah and al-Arbaeen on villages in the Tel Tamer countryside.

In the repulsion fourteen soldiers of the occupation army and its mercenaries were killed. Additionally, a vehicle of the mercenaries armed with a DShK was destroyed and the Syriac Military Council fighters seized a large quantity of weapons and ammunition left behind by the mercenaries as they fled.

After the occupation army and its mercenaries were confronted with the repulsion, they began intensively bombing the village of Um Al-Keif with artillery and rockets. During the morning the attack was still continuing.

In the attack yesterday evening, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries also bombed the villages of Saliba and Bir Arab, in addition to targeting positions of Syrian regime forces in the village of Jirn in the countryside of Tal Abyad.
