Nineteenth developmental Syriac language course concludes in Baghdede

BAGHDEDE, Iraq – Under the guidance of Mr. Imad Salem Jajo, Director General of Syriac Studies, Syriac language lessons in the eastern script have been taught at the Open Educational College of Saint Paul Church Center for Ecclesiastical Services in the Hamdania district of Baghdede.

The nineteenth developmental course (Mar Afram Course) to learn the Syriac language in the eastern script was for beginner students and lasted ten days.

The lectures were presented by Mr. Issam Yako, Syriac Language Supervisor, under the supervision of Father Duraid Barbar, Director of the center.

During the course, the basic principles of Syriac language learning were taught, as well as the writing and pronunciation of letters.
