Explosive device kills two in Qamishli
QAMISHLI, Syria – Two people lost their lives today after an explosive device went off at a recycling facility in Qamishli city.
The victims were Rudi Farouk Sulaiman (29) from Qamishli and Nayef (24) from Tel Hamis. The explosive device had been placed amongst the equipment used for sorting and refining recyclable material.
The Internal Security Forces investigating the incident determined that the explosion was caused by an undetected booby-trap that had made its way to the facility inside a container meant to be recycled.
