SYRIA: Syriac Union Party organizes political lectures on latest developments in North and East Syria

QAMISHLI, Syria – The Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Gozarto (Jazira) Region has organized a series of lectures throughout North and East Syria (NES) discussing the latest political developments in the region. The lectures, organized in Qamishli, Hasakah, Dayrik (al-Malikiyah), and Qabre Hewore (Al-Qahtaniyah), were delivered by the Co-Chair of the Syriac Union Party in Syria, Mr. Sanharib Barsoum.

Barsoum talked about the most important developments in Syria in general, and in the NES regions in particular. He also discussed the decisions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) regarding its negotiations with the Syrian government in Damascus, highlighting the role of the Syriac people in the current stage of negotiations. Barsoum stressed the duty of each individual, party, and organization, in seeking a solution to the political crisis in Syria and ensuring the rights of the Syriac people in the future.

The lectures were followed by lively sessions of discussion among the attendees, with Mr. Barsoum making himself available to answer any questions.
