More Israeli strikes targeting Iranian presence in Syria

DAMASCUS – Early Thursday, Israeli aircraft bombed several Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions in Quneitra and Homs where members of the Iranian Army were present.

According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, Syrian air defenses were able to intercept several Israeli missiles fired by Israeli aircraft over Lebanese airspace.

Violent explosions were heard in and around Homs caused by impact of the Israeli missiles and the firing of a series of air defense missiles.

SANA reported that most of the Israeli rockets were shot down. Some managed to reach their targets without causing any human casualties.
