Khabur: Turkish occupier attacks Khabur villages and damages Tel Tamr power station
Khabur – The Turkish occupation army and its Islamist factions launched new attacks on the villages of Um al-Keif and Tawilla in the Tal Tamr countryside. They were repelled by the forces of the Tal Tamr Military Council. After the failed attack, the Turkish occupier bombed the villages of Um al-Keif and Tawilla intensively injuring a civilian and a member of the Syrian regime’s forces.
According to the Office of Energy and Communications in North & East Syria, the Tal Tamr electricity conversion plant was targeted by Turkish factions, causing significant damage to the station’s high-tension electricity network and was taken out of service.
Meanwhile, Turkish forces shelled the villages of Kour Hassan and Salib southwest of Tal Abyad in the northern Raqqa countryside. No casualties were reported. Earlier, Turkish forces targeted Syrian regime forces positions and civilian areas west of Tal Abyad.
