Syria: Motorcycle bomb injures four in Hassaka and gunmen fire at SDF in Deir al-Zor
Al-Hassaka – Yesterday the city of al-Shaddadi witnessed the explosion of a motorcycle parked on main street near a checkpoint. The motorcycle bomb was detonated by remote control and injured four people who were taken to hospital for treatment.
In another incident local sources said that two gunmen on a motorcycle fired at a SDF patrol in the village of al-Zer in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zor. This prompted the SDF patrol to pursue the gunmen to the edges of the “al-Shahil” region which resulted in the death of one of the gunmen and injured the other gunman severely. He was transferred to hospital for treatment.
SDF and police forces started an investigation into the attack and the association of the gunmen with terrorist sleeper cells.
