SWEDEN: Two more Syriacs lose their live after contracting the coronavirus
STOCKHOLM – The coronavirus continues taking lives of our Syriac community living in Sweden. Two more Syriacs lost their lives after contracting the coronavirus. The total number of Syriac deaths in Sweden because of the coronavirus is now four.
Tereza Sliwa, mother of four, passed away today in hospital in the capital Stockholm after a week in intensive care. Tereza Sliwa was 78 of age and was originally from Iraq.
Another 70-old Syriac man passed away in the hospital of Skogås, Stockholm municipality. After becoming ill, the man was rushed to hospital where he stayed in intensive care for six days before passing away. Although the family of the deceased is awaiting the hospital’s final opinion on the cause of death the expectation is that he passed away because the coronavirus.
