Sanitation checkpoints set up around the cities and villages on the Nineveh Plains
Baghdede, ܒܓ݂ܕܝܕܐ – This week new sanitation checkpoints have been set up around the cities and villages on the Nineveh Plains. A special crisis team tasked with implementing the measures taken to counter the spread of the coronavirus set up sanitation teams on the boundary roads of the villages and towns on the Nineveh Plains.
Syriacs from the majority-Syriac city of Baghdede have taken their responsibility and manned the sanitation checkpoints around Baghdede. Baghdede residents Husam Matti and Samer Samhoun informed our news desk that the teams at the sanitation checkpoints disinfect all vehicles entering and exiting Baghdede and check the condition of drivers and passengers.
