SYRIA: ISIS massacre in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor province

Deir ez-Zor – Several terrorist remnants of the Islamic State (ISIS) committed a massacre in al-Tebni valley in Deir ez-Zor province, eastern Syria. They kidnapped 8 civilians and then executed them, Syrian media sources reported. Local sources reported that the eight civilians who had been executed by ISIS jihadist terrorists were from the Madan region of al-Tebni valley and were only searching for truffles.

The Syrian media sources said that this is not the first time that terrorist remnants of the Islamic State had attacked and executed civilians while grazing and collecting truffles in the countryside of Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor and Homs.

It is worth noting that the ISIS terrorist organization lost all the lands it had controlled during the past years as a result of the military operations launched by Russia and the Syrian Arab Army and the U.S.-led international coalition to support the Syrian Democratic Forces.
