NORTH & EAST SYRIA: Democratic Autonomous Administration congratulates Syriacs and all Christians in Syria with Easter
North and East Syria- The Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria congratulated the Christian people on the occasion of the glorious Easter (Eastern rite calendar), hoping that this Holy feast may end the coronavirus epidemic that has confused the entire world. The DAA Easter greeting on its official website said:

On the occasion of the glorious Easter – the Resurrection of Jesus Christ – this Sunday according to the Eastern rite calendar, we in the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria extend our deepest congratulations to the Syriac-Chaldean-Assyrian people and all the Christians in Syria and in the world, hoping that the Almighty God will soon bring back goodness and peace to the whole world.
This year’s Easter is celebrated in difficult circumstances due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, but this does not prevent us from commemorating this Holy feast with its heritage and holiness which indicates the authenticity of traditions and customs of the peoples of this region. We hope that next Easter, we will have overcome these challenging times and health crisis that the world is going through.
