IRAQ: Beth Nahrin Patriotic Union announces food aid campaign for Nineveh Plains families in need

DASHTO D-NINEVEH (NINEVEH PLAINS), Iraq – The Beth Nahrin Patriotic Union (HBA) announced a campaign to provide food aid to needy Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian (CSA) families in Iraq, beginning in Ankawa. The first phase of the “Heart-to-Heart” campaign aims to distribute food aid to CSA families in Ankawa and Erbil to ease the negative economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The HBA has also formed several committees to carry out the distribution of aid to the towns of Baghdede, Bartella, Bashiqa, Bahzani, Nohadra, and Alqosh.

The Heart-to-Heart program is made possible by funds donated by the Chaldeans-Syriacs-Assyrians through the CSA television broadcaster SuroyoTV.

Those families who have received assistance through the program have expressed deep gratitude for the donations from the diaspora.
