Father Elias Georges blesses Universal Syriac Union Party’s Beirut headquarters

BEIRUT – Mr. Joseph Hajjar, Secretary of Social Affairs of the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP), received Father Elias Georges, Priest of St. Gabriel Syriac Church in Ajaltoun Keserwan Area, at the USUP headquarters in Beirut on Thursday in the presence of the party’s Central Council.

Father Georges blessed the headquarters and asked that The Lord preserve the president, leadership, and members of the party and grant them the strength to continue their struggle, defense, and support for the Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people and their homeland.

At the end of the visit, Hajjar gave Father Georges a number of food aid packages to be distributed to needy families in his parish.
