NORTH & EAST SYRIA: Joint Delegation of Syriac Institutions completes ‘Eid al-Fitr Visits
HASAKAH, Syria – A joint delegation of the Syriac-Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation, the Syriac Military Council Relations Office and the Syriac Security Forces (Sutoro) in a last round of visits on the occasion of ‘Eid al-Fitr, visited the Conservative Party at its office in al-Hasakah city and the Syrian Democratic Forces Martyrs Relations Office.
The delegation exchanged ‘Eid al-Fitr congratulations with the institutions’ members and officials, praised the struggle of the heroic martyrs and the military forces stationed on the front lines. The poor living and economic conditions were discussed as well as the work to provide the martyrs families’ needs within the available capabilities.
Part of the conversation were the unity and solidarity of the Arab, Kurdish, Syriac, Armenian, Yazidi and other components in North and East Syria. The ongoing violations and terrorist actions by the Turkish-backed factions, including several espousing Islamist ideologies, including burning and stealing people’s livelihoods in the region, were also part of the discussions as well as possible ways to thwart the expansionist Turkish occupation plans. The factions within the Syrian National Army have become notorious for their criminality.
