More Turkish military reinforcements cross Syrian border heading towards de-escalation area

IDLIB, Syria – Turkish forces continue to flood Idlib Governorate with military reinforcements, bringing an additional 20 military vehicles across the Syrian border yesterday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a Turkish convoy consisting of 20 military vehicles, 5 trucks, and 6 self-propelled artillery pieces entered the Kafrlossin border crossing north of Idlib and headed towards the de-scalation area.

The latest convoy brings the number of Turkish trucks and military vehicles that have entered Syrian territory from Turkey since February 2020 to more than 7,090. Turkish forces in Syria are equipped with tanks, armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles, and air defense radars.

The number of the Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during the same period has reached more than 10,400.
