Co-Chairship of People’s Municipality in Zalin (Qamishli) announces road and sewage projects for second half of 2020
ZALIN (QAMISHLI), Syria –During a press conference on Thursday, officials of the Zalin (Qamishli) Municipality declared the city’s upcoming service projects for second half of 2020, which include paving roads and maintaining sewage systems.
The Co-Chairship of the People’s Municipality of Zalin, Gabriel Shamoun (Syriac Union Party) and Zozan Ibrahim (Democratic Union Party), indicated that various projects are to be implemented before the end of the 2020, including the paving and maintenance roads. The Municipality announced it had contracted Zaghros Road Paving Company for the project.
In addition, the Municipality announced the maintenance and reconstruction of the sewage systems in several neighborhoods of the city.
Approximately 400 million Syrian Pounds have been allocated for the projects, set to begin next week.
