SYRIA: Members of Syria’s Fifth Corps clash in Hama countryside
HAMA, Syria – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that skirmishes broke out on Friday between members of two armed groups belonging to the Syria’s Russian-backed Fifth Corps on Friday in Hama countryside. The skirmishes turned into armed clashes injuring fighters of the two groups.
Fighters of the group from the village of Janan targeted a car carrying fighters of the other group from al-Zabadi village, injuring some of them, while a number of the attacking group were arrested. According to SOHR, the clashes started after a verbal argument between members of the two villages over a girl.
