Another round of Turkish shelling of Ayn Issa in North and East Syria

AYN ISSA, Syria – Turkish occupation forces in North and East Syria have targeted positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Syrian regime in the town of Ayn Issa with mortars and artillery. No information about casualties or material losses was available.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) stated that the Turkish forces stationed in the areas of ‘Operation Peace Spring’ once again targeted Brigade 93 of the Syrian regime forces around the town of Ayn Issa, north of Raqqa.

Turkish forces also targeted a checkpoint of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria near Ayn Issa with several shells.

The SDF and regime heavy artillery targeted locations of Turkish and Turkish-backed forces in the village of Kormaza in response.
