IRAQ: General Directorate for Syriac Studies delegation visits Syriac schools in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq – In an annual inspection, a delegation of the General Directorate for Syriac Studies, visited several Syriac schools or schools that teach Syriac language and Christian religious education in their curriculum. The delegation visited schools belonging to the second Baghdad Education Directorate in Rusafa.

The visiting delegation included Imad Daoud, Director of Curricula and Technology, and Uday Zuhair, Christian Education Division official.

The aim of this visit was to meet administrative staff in the schools and review the progress of education and understand the problems and obstacles faced by educational and teaching staff.

The delegation also visited governmental and private schools.
