ZALIN (QAMISHLI), Syria – With the help of local residents, the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of North and East Syria managed to dismantle a hand grenade that was placed in Al-Khaleej Street in Zalin (Qamishli).
According to local reports, the ISF received information from a civilian on Monday about the presence of the hand grenade. The ISF dispatched an engineering team to the reported scene, was directed to the device, and immediately dismantle it. No information was recorded about the origin of the hand grenade.
On 7 June, a hand grenade exploded near an ISF checkpoint in the Halco neighborhood in southern Zalin killing an unidentified person.
