Syrian Democratic Forces arrest four suspected members of ISIS in Deir ez-Zor countryside

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) conducted a counter-terrorism raid in the village of Al-Hasin near the town of Sour in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. Four people were arrested during the raid and charged with belonging to the Islamic State. The operation was accompanied by the flight of helicopters belonging to the U.S.-led International Coalition.

The Al-Hasin raid follows the large-scale security operation launched by the SDF last month in cooperation with the International Coalition to clean the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor from Islamic State cells to restore stability to the region.
