Dead and wounded in suicide bombing in Daraa, Syria
DARAA, Syria — According to reporting from the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), a civilian was killed and 10 others injured by a suicide bomber on a motorcycle in the Manshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa, Syria.
Citing a source in the Daraa police headquarters, SANA reported that the bombing took place on Tuesday evening after the bomber drove his motorcycle among a small crowd of people in the Manshiyeh neighborhood and blew himself up.
“The national hospital in the city received 10 injuries, including two critical cases. The rest were injured by shrapnel. The body of a young man who died in the bombing and the body of the suicide bomber were also brought to the hospital,” SANA reported.
The bombing comes after the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Tuesday that two people working for the Military Intelligence Division in Daraa were killed after an unknown explosion inside a house in the Al-Jomruk neighborhood.
