NORTH AND EAST SYRIA: Two members of SDF and French mine expert killed by landmine in Raqqa countryside

RAQQA, Syria – Two Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) members and a French mine expert were killed when a landmine exploded in the village of Al-Muweleh in the western countryside of Raqqa city on their way back to Al-Tabaqa area in the same countryside.

The identities of those killed have not yet been confirmed.

Raqqa was hit by several explosions on 14 July caused by four improvised explosive devices, three of which exploded in the Al-Toub Al-Hadeeth area within a deserted building in the city center. The fourth exploded in the Al-Jazra neighborhood in the western district of Raqqa. No casualties were reported.
