SYRIA: Girl injured after hand grenade thrown at her house in Zalin (Qamishli)
ZALIN (QAMISHLI), Syria — The Internal Security Forces (ISF) of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria reported a girl was injured on Friday as a result of a hand grenade being thrown at her house in the city of Zalin (Qamishli).
After the explosion, the ISF opened an investigation to uncover the facts of the incident. The investigation revealed that the explosion was caused by unidentified people throwing a hand grenade at the home of Fakhri Hamid in the Al-Mahatta Al-Kadima neighborhood in eastern Zalin.
The explosion resulted in the injury of 19-year-old Rossin who was inside the house. She was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The ISF indicated that the investigation with continue until they identify the perpetrators and arrest them.
