Chaldean Community Foundation in Michigan, U.S.A., completes expansion construction

STERLING HEIGHTS, Michigan, U.S. — The Chaldean Community Foundation in the U.S. state of Michigan celebrated the opening of its building expansion.

The opening ceremony was attended by a number of local religious figures, U.S. government officials, and businessmen from the Chaldean community in Michigan.

The opening ceremony began with a speech by the President of the Chaldean Community Foundation and President of the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce, Martin Mena, during which he spoke about the stages of expanding the building of the Foundation, which began in 2015 in Sterling Heights. Mena attributed the success of the Foundation to the outstanding efforts of the Foundation’s staff and thanked those who donated to the expansion.

The Chairman of the Board of the Foundation, Sylvester Sandiha, outlined the Foundation’s mission, which includes support, education, community development, and the preservation of culture.

Director of Programs Shirin Hanlawa spoke about the Foundation’s programs, including the various social and health services it offers to the community.

At the end of the ceremony, Martin Mena, together with the audience, toured the new building.
