Syrian Democratic Forces graduate 10th commando class

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Special Forces Academy in Euphrates Region in North and East Syria marked the graduation of the 10th training course, named for Martyr Bashar. The course included 90 fighters from North and East Syria and lasted four and a half months, during which the trainees received political, combat, and special physical training skills.

The graduation ceremony was attended by leaders from the Syrian Democratic Forces, representatives of the Administration, and tribal leaders and sheikhs.

The ceremonies began with a minute of silence commemorating the souls of martyrs, followed by a speech by the leader of the commando forces, Mahmoud Qarmouk, who stressed the role these forces will play in protecting the region from any attacks launched by Turkey and its Syrian National Army proxies.

Qarmouk’s speech was followed by the taking of the military oath, after which the graduates performed exhibition drill.
