Deputy Co-Chair Gawriye: Administration has begun reconstruction efforts in Dayro Zcuro
DAYRO ZCURO, Syria — In a statement to SuroyoTV, Deputy Co-Chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria Elizabeth Gawriye, stated that under the auspices of the DAA, the Health Directorate laid the foundation for a hospital in Hajin, a town in the eastern countryside of Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor) which was neglected by the Syrian regime destroyed by the Islamic State.
In her statement, Gawriye indicated that the DAA in the process of rebuilding the infrastructure of Dayro Zcuro, beginning with the most affected areas.
The ceremony celebrating the laying of the hospital’s foundation was attended by Berevan Khaled — Co-Chair of the Executive Council for DAA, Amina Ossa and Elisabeth Gawriye — both Deputy Co-Chairs of the Executive Council, Dr. Joan Mustafa — Co-Chair of the Health Directorate, Dr. Eid al-Jabr and Dr. Mahmoud al-Abdullah — both Deputy Co-Chairs of the Health Directorate, Dr. Ghassan al Youssef — Co-Chair of the Civil Administration of Dayro Zcuro, and a delegation from the U.S.-led International Coalition.
