IRAQ: Four ISIS terrorists killed in Salah ad-Din Governorate

SALAH AL-DIN, Iraq – Iraqi media reported the killing of 4 wanted ISIS terrorists in Salah ad-Din Governorate, north of Baghdad in northern Iraq. The ISIS terrorists were killed when an explosive device caused their vehicle to explode. Iraqi media quoted military sources as saying that the device was planted on the side of the road in al-Maqta area, in the west of the Governate, and was detonated by unidentified persons against the vehicle carrying these terrorists.

According to the leader security forces in Salah ad-Din Saad Muhammad, joint army and police forces have identified the dead, and confirmed them belonging to the wanted ISIS terrorists.

ISIS terrorist attacks have increased in recent months in Iraq, especially in the area between Kerkeslokh (Kirkuk) and Salah ad-Din and Diyala, east Iraq, known as the “Triangle of Death.”
