Syriac Military Council spokesperson Aram Hanna: SDF is a balanced force with good internal relations, unlike the SNA
TEL TAMR, Syria — In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV about the situation in Tel Tamr in North and East Syria, spokesperson for the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulhoyo Suryoyo, MFS) Aram Hanna indicated that, unlike the Turkish-backed factions of the Syrian National Army (SNA), the different groups making up the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), of which the MFS is a part, don’t engage in in-fighting.
Hanna stated that there is no competition between the SDF because the forces are well-balanced and share a ethos of self-sacrifice, a stark contrast to the self-serving nature of the SNA which has engaged in rampant looting and extortion against the civilian population in the areas they occupy.
All groups within the SDF have good relations with one another, said Hanna.
Due to Tel Tamr’s strategic importance as an important crossroads, the town and surrounding areas have witnessed routine Turkish aggression.
The MFS is a co-founder of the SDF and is currently mobilized in Tel Tamr.
