Trump continues to impose sanctions against Chinese companies even as term comes to an end

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Despite only having two months left in office, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced his intention to move ahead with his program of sanctions targeting Chinese personalities, entities, and companies.

Having previously sanctioned more than 30 Chinese companies and entities tied to the Chinese military, the Trump’s Administration has proclaimed its intention to sanction four addition Chinese companies for the same reason.
