SYRIA: New Turkish military convoy containing tanks, troop carriers and BMP vehicles enter Edleb de-escalation zone

EDLEB (IDLIB), Syria – Several media outlets and activists have reported that Turkish military reinforcement convoys have entered the de-escalation zone in Edleb (Idlib) as part of the continuing Turkish presence through military observation points and bases.

The convoys entered through the Kafrlossin border crossing with northern Edleb. Activists from Edleb reported that about 6 military convoys entered Edleb (Idlib) heading towards Jabal al-Zawiya. The convoys included tanks, troop carriers and BMP vehicles. The activists said that the convoys were headed to Turkish bases in Deir Sunbul, Rewiha, Ihsim and Baluon.
