Counterfeit currency dealers arrested in Mabbug by the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria
MABBUG, Syria — On Monday, the Organized Crime Office (OCO) of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of North and East Syria arrested a counterfeit currency dealer in the city of Mabbug.
The OCO media center indicated that 15,000 counterfeit dollars had been confiscated in the dealer’s possession. Furthermore, two other people who had been assisting him in exchanging the counterfeit currency were also arrested. All those arrested will be brought before judicial authorities in accordance with the law.
This is not the first time that such currency dealers and networks have been arrested in the regions of North and East Syria.
