SDF spokesperson Gabriel participates in In Defense of Christians dialogue session about Turkish aggression in Syria and Iraq
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — In an interview with SuroyoTV, spokesperson for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Kino Gabriel discussed the dialogue session held by In Defense of Christians to discuss the continued Turkish attacks on Christian Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) areas in Syria and Iraq.
“The dialogue session was held by In Defense of Christians (IDC) with the participation of experts, analysts, and specialists in Christian affairs in the Middle East,” Gabriel said, pointing out that Turkey’s policies in the Middle East conflicts had been discussed. Turkey’s disruptive role in Karabakh and Iraq, as well as its hostile policies in Syria in general and North and East Syria in particular, were discussed.
Gabriel also mentioned the role the Syriac (Aramean–Assyria–Chaldean) people play in the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria and the uniqueness of the regions inclusive ethnic, religious, and political model.
