Conservative Party and Sutoro delegations visit Syriac Union Party office in Qabre Hewore in North and East Syria

QABRE HEWORE, Syria — On the occasion of Christmas and New Year, a delegation of the Syriac Security Forces (Sutoro) visited the Syriac Union Party (SUP) office in Qabre Hewore in North and East Syria. The Sutoro delegation was received by SUP official in Qabre Hewore Habib Ardesh and members of the party’s relations committee.

During the visit, the two sides discussed the security situation around the town during the Christmas and New Year holidays and measures taken by security forces to ensure the safety of festivities. The parties also discussed the situation of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) in North and East Syria and Syria in general.

In related news, a delegation from the Conservative Party, headed by Adnan Azo and consisting of members of the party, also visited the Qabre Hewore office of the SUP.

During the meeting, the status and living conditions of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) and ways to strengthen them were discussed. The importance of cooperation among the parties active in the region to promote the values of coexistence among all peoples was stressed by both parties.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue their communication and bilateral cooperation.
