Head of Hezbollah points out weakness of Syrian regime
BEIRUT — In an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV, Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah revealed the deteriorating military situation of the Syrian government, a significant statement given Hezbollah’s close ties to the Syrian regime.
“Iranian officials were behind convincing the Russians to intervene in Syria and prevent Syrian cities from falling into the hands of their opponents,” said Nasrallah.
