First U.S. military convoy of 2021 enters North and East Syria

HASAKAH, Syria — A new convoy of the U.S.-led International Coalition entered the regions of North and East Syria. The convoy consisted of more than 30 trucks loaded with weapons and logistical equipment and entered through Al-Waleed border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), heading towards the coalition bases in Al-Hasakah Province.

Last month, a convoy which included military and logistical materials also entered from Al-Waleed border crossing.

The 5th coalition convoy brings the number of vehicles and trucks entering North and East Syria, during last December to about 170 vehicles which carried military and logistical materials in addition to fuel tanks to the region.
