MUB and SUP member Echoue Gouriye offers condolences to Sheikh Hmeidi Daham al-Hadi following the death of his brother in Tal Alo, Syria

TAL ALO, Syria — A delegation headed by member of Beth Nahrin National Council (MUB) and Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Qabre Hewore Echoue Gouriye visited the village of Tal Alo to offer condolences to Sheikh Hmeidi Daham al-Hadi on the death of his brother.

During the visit, Gouriye spoke about the good qualities of the deceased and the close relations between the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) and Arab peoples, as well as the need to preserve and consolidate those relations.

Sheikh Al-Hadi, in turn, explained that the Syriac people and the Arab tribes share a common heritage and ancestry, so joint relations between the two peoples should continue and be preserved.

At the end of the visit, Sheikh Al-Hadi thanked the visiting delegation, wishing to conduct joint visits between the two parties whenever possible.
