SYRIA: Christian family in Tartous killed in car accident
TARTOUS, Syria – A car accident caused the death of several members of a Christian family and the wounding of several other members. The family, which is from Rabah village in the Hmoth (Homs) countryside, was involved in a traffic accident on Wednesday at Jabal al-Sayeda in Mashta al-Helu town in Tartous countryside while visiting a holy site in the region.
On their way home, their car skidded more than 500 meters from the top of Jabal al-Sayeda into the valley below. As a result, Dayoub Dayoub (47), Nisreen Harb Ibrahim (43), and their two-month-old baby boy, Harb, lost their lives.
The other two family members, two boys, were severely wounded and are in critical condition.
