First computer skills course organized by Beth Nahrain Organization for Women concludes in Bartella, Iraq
BARTELLA, Iraq — On Saturday, the Beth Nahrain Organization for Women (BNOW) concluded its first International Computer Driving License course in Bartella in Nineveh Plains in northern Iraq. Ten women from Bartella participated in the course, which included instruction in Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
The course was funded with a grant provided by the Schmitz Stiftung Organization through the German Syriac Cross to train 80 women over a six-month period.
The graduation event was attended by BNOW head Hanan Matti Touma and Bartella’s Bureau Chief.
During the event, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the course graduates.
