Executive Council of North and East Syria holds annual meeting
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — Elisabeth Gawriye, Deputy Co-Chair of the Executive Council of Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria told SuroyoTV that the Executive Council held its annual meeting on the 18 and 19 January. The meeting was attended by the co-chairs of the many governing bodies and directorates of the DAA.
Gawriye added that during the meeting, the gathered officials discussed the challenges and difficulties experienced in North and East Syria, including the ongoing Turkish attacks and the lack of a political solution to the ongoing civil war.
The DAA’s accomplishment for 2020 were also discussed, said Gawriye, as were plans for the coming year.
