Syrian Democratic Forces raids net three known ISIS members in Dayro Zcuro and Hasakah

HASAKAH and DAYRO ZCURO, Syria — The Anti-Terror Units (YAT) of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in cooperation with the U.S.-led International Coalition, conducted simultaneous security operations in Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor) and Hasakah in North and East Syria on Tuesday.

The security operation in the Shuhail area, east of Dayro Zcuro, resulted in the arrest of two known members of the Islamic State (ISIS).

In a simultaneous operation in the Al-Fallah region of Hasakah, the YAT arrested the leader of an ISIS cell. The arrested ISIS official was planning to carry out assassinations and terrorist operations in the area. Weapons, equipment, and documents in his possession were also confiscated.
