Syriac Progressive Youth organization in North and East Syria completes cultural education course at Leader Said Malki Academy
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — Members of the Syriac Progressive Youth organization concluded a six-day cultural education course at Leader Said Malki Academy on Thursday.
According to SuroyoFM, the course included lessons on Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) history in the region, the national struggle of the Syriac people, and the establishment of institutions to ensure their security and rights in Syria and all over the world.
It also included lessons on the importance of youth participation in the Syriac movement and alongside the youth of the region’s other peoples in the institutions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA).
According to SuroyoFM, the course participants conducted workshops and discussions of the most important issues facing the youth of the region, including the coexistence of peoples and the economic future of the region.
Leader Said Malki Academy was opened a year ago and gives lectures on Syriac thought in all fields.
