Unidentified gunmen arrested members of regime forces and take control of checkpoint in Druco in southern Syria
DRUCO, Syria — Armed men capture three members of the Syrian regime forces in Druco (Daraa) in southern Syria.
The three Syrian regime fighters were captured during armed clashes in the town of Tafas.
Separate clashes took place at a checkpoint of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) 4th Division north of the town of Saham Golan. Armed men took control of the checkpoint along the Nafia Shajara road. No information about casualties was available.
Over the past few months, assassinations and armed clashes between reconciled opposition fighters and regime forces have been on the rise in Druco.
Earlier this month, Syrian regime forces had to storm the town of Kark al-Sharqi in search of fighters who had been attacking regime forces.
