Sanharib Barsoum and Nazira Goreya elected Co-Chairs of the Syriac Union Party in Syria
DAYRIK, Syria — On 19 February, the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria held its third general conference in the city of Dayrik (Al-Malikiyah) in North and East Syria in the presence of the majority of its members.
The SUP holds a general conference every three years to election for party positions and bylaws of the organization.
Other popular personalities, political actors, and representatives of various political parties and institutions also attended the conference.
During the conference, bylaw amendments and proposals were put forward for the next three-year period.
Before the end of the conference, the nomination for the Co-Chairship of the party and the Party Council took place. Sanharib Barsoum and Nazira Goreya were elected as SUP Co-Chairs.
