U.S. Secretary of State Blinken: Two-state solution is the best solution to end the Israeli–Palestinian conflict
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke with his Israeli counterpart, Gabi Ashkenazi, over the phone on Monday to discuss the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian issue and the failure of the international community to find a common formula that will end it in a way that satisfies both parties.
Blinken explained the U.S.’s stance on the issue, explaining that the Biden Administration believes that the two-state solution is the best way to solution.
According to the U.S. State Department statement, Blinken emphasized that President Joe Biden believes that the two-state solution is the best way to guarantee the future of Israel, as a Jewish and democratic state, living in peace alongside a viable, democratic Palestinian state.
