Beth Nahrain Organization for Women distributes relief aid from Syriac Cross and Eaglewatch Foundation to villagers in Shengal
SHENGAL, Iraq — With the support of the Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development and Polish non-profit Orla Straż (Eaglewatch), the Beth Nahrain Organization for Women in Iraq, in cooperation with the Amal Sinjar Humanitarian Organization, distributed packages of relief aid, including winter clothing, so villages in Shengal (Sinjar) in Iraq.
Aid was distributed to displaced people who returned to their villages from camps in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) and to those who were struggling to make ends meet. Many of those in the villages do not receive any material or moral support from the government.
